FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
LINERS
==========
Q – What is a unibead above ground pool liner?
A – A unibead liner is a 2 in 1 liner. Gives you the option to use the liner as a beaded liner which requires a bead receiver or as a J-Hook liner which just hooks onto wall of pool, they are easy to install, A beaded liner is the easiest of liners to replace because it hangs in the bead receiver inside the pool, so when you replace it there is no need to take off the top rails of the pool. If you are planning on building a deck near the pool the a beaded liner is the way to go !

Q – Which side of a plain blue liner goes up facing the water, smooth shiny side or dull textured side?
A – There is no wrong or right way, it is up to customer preference. We suggest shiny side up for the textured side tends to collect more dirt and debris.

Q – Is the flap where the seam is suppose to be up or down?
A – Depending on which side you install (shiny or dull), the flap may be facing up. This flap can be trimmed and must be done very carefully for if it is cut during trimming the warranty will be voided.

Q – Why do I have grass growing through the bottom of the liner and is this covered under warranty?
A – This is not covered under warranty. The earth underneath the pool liner was not properly taken care of before installation, thus causing sharp blades of grass to grow beneath the liner surface and poke through. Weed killer can be used but must be checked to make sure that it will not affect the liner in any way. A gorilla pad is and excellent product to prevent this problem

Q – How can I find a leak in my liner?
A – Take some food coloring and go to where you think there might be a leak, if so the food coloring will be drawn to it.

Q – Why do I have too much or too little left over when installing a beaded or unibead liner?
A – We suggest you center the liner as well as possible and insert the bead at 4 points first.
For example:
North, South, East and West ends of the pool.
Then insert the bead in between these points to get the best possible fit.

Q-- What's the trick to installing a wrinkle free liner?
A--Using a shop vacuum to draw the liner to the side wall and to the bottom is the old installers trick. All you do is hang the liner per the manufacturers instructions and tape off the return fitting outlet in the pool wall, then insert your shop vac hose between the wall and the liner through the skimmer opening. Tape with duct tape over the vacuum hose to make the skimmer opening air tight.
Turn on the shop vacuum and wait.
You'll see the liner drawn to the side wall and to the bottom of the pool.
Identify where the wrinkles are.
Shut off the vac and move the liner around to eliminate the wrinkles then repeat the process until you liner is wrinkle free.
Leave the shop vacuum running until you have a couple of feet or water in the pool.
Then remove it before the water line gets close to it or you will not be able to get it out
